Asparagus



Preparation time : 20 mins
Serves : 4

Ingredients :

Asparagus : one bunch
Olive oil : 1 Tbsp
Garlic clove : 4
Lemon juice : 1tsp
Satl  : to taste
Black pepper powder : to taste

Method :

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Lina a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
Wash the Asparagus and cut to desired size.
Snap the blunt ends of the asparagus.


Place in baking tray and toss it with the olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Put it in oven for 15 minutes ( Or until desired tenderness)


Serve immediately with a little lemon juice over it.

Stove top method :
Heat a pan, add oil, crushed garlic.
When garlic is slightly done add lemon juice.
Add salt and mix.
Immediately add cut Asparagus.
Increase the heat to high.
Toss continuously for 8 to 10 minutes, till the asparagus is cooked.
Add in black pepper powder to taste and mix.
Take it off the flame and serve it hot .
Serve immediately or else the asparagus will let water go.
Do no cover and cook as it may change color and sweat a lot.
Use an open pan and try not to crowd them in the pan.
Try not to over cook the asparagus, the crunch in great.
