Chocolate - banana mug cake (Gluten free)

This cake is gluten - free the way the North Pole is bikini-free. It's simply not needed. It's not as cakey as other recipes in these microwave cakes, but it is certainly just as tasty.

Preparation time : 10 mins
Makes : 2 Mug Cakes

Ingredients :

Over ripe banana : 1
Peanut butter : 1/4 cup
Egg : 1 large
Granulated sugar : 2 Tsp
Unsweetened cocoa powder: 3 Tbsp
Add-ins of your choice : chocolate chips, chopped nuts or dried fruits : 1/4 cup

Method :

Mash the banana in a large mug with a fork.
Add the nut butter and egg and mix thoroughly.
Stir in the sugar and cocoa and beat until smooth.
Fold in the add-ins.
Divide the batter between 2 mugs.
Microwave  separately for 11/2 to 2 1/2 minutes each until risen and firm.

Yummy mug cake is ready to serve.

Topping ideas :  Whipped cream,  Peanut butter whipped cream, chocolate whipped cream, ganache, chocolate sauce, or candied nuts.
Serve your cake hot with your choice of topping.
